National Account Manager
Full-Time | Permanent | Location: Flexible (UK-based)
About simply roasted
We’re simply roasted - and we’re on a mission to change the way we eat crisps for the better, forever.
Using a unique, patent-protected roasting process (no one else does it like we do!), we make crisps that are 50% less fat than traditional fried crisps but still taste indulgently delicious. Our range is vegan, gluten-free, and HFSS-compliant, bridging the gap between health and pleasure in the snacking aisle.
We’re a small, agile team that owns and operates our own factory just outside of Norwich. Backed by bold ambition and a big vision, we’re growing fast - and now we’re looking for a National Account Manager to help us take our next big step.
About the Role
As our National Account Manager, you'll be at the forefront of driving simply roasted’s growth - winning new business and nurturing key accounts across retail, wholesale, and foodservice.
You'll work closely with our MD and Senior National Account Manager on commercial strategy, while collaborating cross-functionally with operations and marketing to deliver excellence. In short: you'll play a vital role in helping us get more healthy crisps into more hands.
What You’ll Be Doing
- New business development - identifying and securing high-potential national accounts using compelling, insight-led pitches
- Account management - nurturing relationships, optimising performance, and unlocking growth opportunities
- Joint business planning - negotiating pricing and terms to drive win-win outcomes
- Forecasting & planning - partnering with supply chain to ensure smooth operations and accurate demand planning
- Representing the brand - attending key trade shows and events to build visibility and momentum
- Cross-functional collaboration - working with marketing, operations, and supply chain to deliver successful launches and campaigns
About You
You’re a driven and commercially savvy salesperson who knows how to turn data into stories and relationships into results. You're not afraid to roll up your sleeves, and you're excited by the challenge of working in a high-growth, purpose-led brand.
- 2+ years of FMCG account management experience, ideally within a high-growth or challenger brand
- Well-connected in the world of UK grocery and/or foodservice
- Data-literate - comfortable using sales and category insight to inform decision-making
- Strong communicator - confident managing both internal and external stakeholders
- Hands-on and proactive - thrives in a fast-moving, team-oriented environment
- Health-conscious snack lover - because loving what we make makes the job a whole lot more fun

We’re flexible on location. While some of our team are based near our Norwich factory and others in London, we’re happy to hear from candidates based elsewhere in the UK who can help us grow our reach nationwide.
